Haddy Kisekka has experience in both information technology and healthcare management. He currently works as Resource Manager with Washington State. He graduated with a Masters in Health Informatics and Health Information Management from the University Of Washington. He is passionate about organizational growth, development, leadership and is really excited about the future of SHIMA.
Tien graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics and Health Information Management. As the Vice President of SHIMA, she has facilitated many workshops from 2020 until now. She is very grateful to be the winner of the SHIMA Exam Reimbursement Scholarship 2022 and she would love to devote more effort to the HIM community.
Dhanashri (Shri) has strong Healthcare background with a Masters Health Informatics and Health Information Management and Bachelor's degree focused on homeopathic Medicine. Skilled in Administration, Project Mangement and Analystics, she strives for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. She believes Health IT innovations will reduce human errors and ease operational workflows.She enjoys working as SHIMA treasurer and assist HIM professionals in achieving their goals.
Sumaiya Sabeeh has 6+ years experience interpreting and analyzing data and is currently working as an Epidemiologist with Washington Health Care Authority. She has Bachelors in Biochemistry, Masters in Biotechnology and Masters in Health Information Management from the College of St. Scholastica (MN). She is excited to be the part of SHIMA and ready to explore opportunities in the field of healthcare.
Bekele Babo has over 18 years experience as a healthcare provider. He has worked in a variety of health care settings, including hospitals and long-term care facilities. He currently works at Swedish Medical Center (Oncology), as Patient Care Technician.
Bekele graduated with a Bachelor Health Informatics and health information Management from University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Debub University. Bekele enjoys volunteering with SHIMA to explore networking opportunities and stay updated on the ever changing industry. Bekele plans to become a RHIA soon.
Jennifer Kim will be graduating in June 2023 from the University of Washington Health Informatics & Health Information Management program with a minor in Global Health. She currently working in the medical-legal industry as a Records Coordinator/Administrative Assistant. She is motivated in healthcare quality improvement to enhance patient experience for the distribution of high-quality care for a diverse population. She is thrilled to contribute to SHIMA as she is starting her career in Health Information Management.
