How do I apply?
Submit a completed Nomination form using the link above for you or someone else. All nominees will be asked to submit a 600 character statement for ballots.
What is required?
A few hours a month, an eagerness to grow and have some fun with other HIM Students and Professionals.
I don’t have any experience…
All newly elected board members will have a mentor. Your mentor or mentors will have experience in your role and be by your side for the first 6 months to help integrate you to SHIMA. No previous experience is necessary.
What's in it for me?

Can I run with another person?
Yes, this election cycle SHIMA is encouraging new candidates to run alongside a peer or classmate. Share the responsibilities and work together.
I am a student...do I qualify?
Yes you do. Students and professionals are all encouraged to apply. No Credential or certification is required.
FAQs
*All roles will be responsible for attending monthly 90 minute board meetings as well as quarterly workshops. Both are held outside of business hours and are not included in the estimated time commitment noted above.
