Introduction to ICD-10 PCS and CM Code Sets

These two day, beginning-level courses, “Introduction to ICD-10-CM Code Sets” and “Introduction to PCS Code Sets,” provides an introduction to the International Classification of Disease, tenth revision, clinical modification, diagnosis code set (ICD-10-CM) and procedure code set (ICD-10-PCS).AHIMA approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainers will instruct this course. The goals of these courses are to train coding professionals and other users on the basic coding principles necessary to work with ICD-10-CM and/or ICD-10-PCS code sets, and provide the basic technical skills needed to transition from ICD-9-CM to ICD-10-CM/PCS code sets.
